In this extensive remodel of a 1990s carriage house guest suite, the owners wanted to create a restful getaway designed to maximize light and complement the details of their 1914 Craftsman home. The project was approached in close collaboration with the owners and Pam Pearce of Pamela Pearce Design. The result is an authentically detailed space with antique salvaged oak floors, carefully crafted woodwork & windows looking out to the beautiful scenery. Throughout the space, modern conveniences are hidden such as the radiant floor heating, computer equipment & appliances. Adding charm to the kitchen are locally designed ceramic tiles showcasing native Pacific Northwest birds by artist Karen Fishburn.
"Stepping into the Carriage House and experiencing the sense of completion was thrilling for us. The space feels timeless, welcoming and so cozy! It's exactly what I wanted for our house guests. Once again, we want to express our appreciation to the team for its cooperative effort in seeing the project to its completion. It has been a pleasure getting to know you all and we look forward to Phase II with great anticipation."
