PALANCHUN: Phase II

FISHERMAN'S POINT

"Our dialogue is translating into meaningful changes. I really appreciate your dedication and interest in our project."- Current Client, Palachun Phase II
PALANCHUN: Phase II

Located on a high bank waterfront lot with expansive west facing views towards the Olympics, our client's goal was to preserve the comfortable historic ambiance of their 1914 Craftsman home while providing additional space for gathering with family and friends. The home’s expansion is comprised of two additions along the building’s west elevation that extend the designs horizontal line and provide additional opportunities for capturing the views. At each addition, shed dormers are placed to maximize light penetration and balance the proportions of designs composition. A third building addition was carefully inserted at the main entry to provide a foyer for greeting guests and circulating from the north and south wings of the home. Within the home, the renovated interior architecture is filled with custom millwork and cabinets, a new kitchen, & new fireplaces; all detailed to complement the overall craftsman style of the building.
